Why I Do This Work (And Why It Matters for You)
For years, I had no idea that I was running on stress hormones.
On the outside, I looked like I was “doing all of the healthy things.” But inside, I was stuck in a cycle of: bingeing then restricting, pushing myself through brutal workouts only to crash on the couch for days, obsessing over eating perfectly — then swinging to the “f*ck it” diet.
I battled binge eating for over a decade. I kept trying to fix myself with the next plan, cleanse, or challenge… but nothing lasted. Behind it all, I carried shame, digestive issues, skin flare-ups, and constant exhaustion.
The turning point? Realizing that my body didn’t feel safe.
I wasn’t broken — I was just living in survival mode. My nervous system was running the show, keeping my hormones and digestion stuck on repeat.
That’s when my healing truly began. I stopped chasing the quick fixes and started focusing on what my body actually needed: nourishment without obsession, nervous system regulation, and a root-cause approach that worked long-term.
